MBBS, BDS, BSC, FRACDS (OMS), FDSRCS (England & Edinburgh), FFDRCS (OSOM) (Eire) Dr. Richard Vickers is an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with training conducted in Adelaide and Houston, Texas. Richard undertakes all Oral & Maxillofacial procedures with particular interest in Orthognathic Surgery, Dental Implantology and Medical Management of dental patients.

Dr. Peter Vickers

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

BMBS, BDS, FRCS (Edinburgh), FDS RCS (England), FRACDS, Cert.OMS (Louisiana, USA)

Dr. Peter Vickers originally hails from Sydney but has trained in Adelaide, Australia; the UK and USA. He is qualified in the fields of Medicine and Dentistry, specialising in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Peter’s surgery training encompassed craniofacial surgery, head and neck surgery, oral surgery, reconstructive surgery, trauma surgery, cosmetic surgery and dental surgery including dental implants.

Peter holds Fellowships in Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, England and Australia. He also holds a certificate of residency training from the examination board of the Louisiana State University, USA. He has extensive experience in gunshot wounds from his training in trauma surgery in New Orleans.






Dr. Michael Tame

Oral Surgery and Implantology


Dr. Michael Tame has broad experience in Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine with a special interest in advanced Dento-Alveolar surgery including management of impacted teeth, complex extractions, dental implants, oral medicine and oral pathology.

Originally from Cardiff, Wales, Michael qualified with BDS from Bristol University in 2000. He then undertook training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Houseman and Registrar level at Royal Gwent Hospital, United Kingdom. Michael has had extensive training in Surgical Dentistry and gained the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS) and the Graduate Diploma in Surgical Dentistry from The University of Sydney. He obtained the specialist Fellowship in Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland FFD(OSOM)RCSI in 2014.

Michael has held an academic appointment in Oral Surgery at the University of Queensland in addition to a specialist Oral Surgery appointment with Queensland Health at Toowoomba Base Hospital. He has previously been a Lecturer in Oral Surgery at the University of Sydney and currently holds the position of Hospital Recognised Specialist in Oral Surgery with NSW Health at The Sydney Dental Hospital.

Additionally Michael has been providing specialist Oral Surgery services to patients at Concord Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Canterbury Hospitals.

Michael has worked privately in the Sydney metropolitan and Illawarra region in recent years and is credentialed at Chatswood Private Hospital, Delmar Private Hospital, and Wollongong Day Surgery.
